An aquaphobe, a devilish teenager, and a painted masochist.
Three surreal figures journey through the futile web that is their shame.
So, Count Mine. is an online digital theatrical experience that thematically explores the cycles and manifestations of shame through three surreal characters. Following a non-linear structure, viewers select one of three journeys that will lead them through 9 original short films, all of which have been directed, performed, and designed in collaboration.
So, Count Mine. is an exciting look into the world of performance and production through times of COVID-19. The international all womxn collective It's Us: Ophelia (Turkey, Hong Kong, Russia) introduces an innovative approach to production and experimental process within the confines of a pandemic.
With each member of the collective working in rotation as writers, directors, performers, and sound designers for each film, the project developed beyond the parameters of the traditional film/theatrical process.
As It's Us: Ophelia, our passion for sharing our distinctive methodology to experimental devising extends beyond connecting with audiences through quality content. As a growing platform seeking to align and feature curious, like-minded artists from across the globe, we provide opportunities for creatives of all backgrounds to challenge preconceived notions and rules of art-making through digital and in-person collaboration.
Elif Gülin Soğuksu co-founded the It's Us: Ophelia collective and has composed music, did sound designs and artistically involved in 4 of 9 short films; You Are Not the Nightmare, Ace of A, Run! Burn! Run! and Inhale.

We are a team of passionate experimental creatives that seek to connect with the world by pushing the boundaries of traditional forms of production and storytelling.
In 2020, we braved the challenge of creating under the conditions of the pandemic by collaborating remotely in three cities (Moscow, Istanbul, Hong Kong) to fully write, produce and direct our original surrealist digital experience So, Count Mine.
Our work has been shared and streamed online; our characters and their world have come alive through the desktops of audience members around the world.
While there is no denying the power in the reach our digital realm offers us today, we have always hoped for the chance to have So, Count Mine come to life.
In August 2021 So, Count Mine was showcased in front of a live audience for the first time at Creative Diaspora art space in Moscow, Russia.
So, Count Mine. premiered at www.itsusophelia.com digitally in December of 2020.
